    Nadine Phillips has been practicing pilates for over 14 years, and has been in business since 2005. Phillips received her STOTT mat certification in 2003, and her certification in reformer, cadillac, chair and barrels in 2004 becoming one of the first of 5 people certified in STOTT Cadillac, chair and barrel in Connecticut. She has continued her education with STOTT, taking the Advanced Reformer class and Injury and Special Populations class in 2005. In 2007, finishing Advanced Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels completing all of the available STOTT Pilates Courses. She received her FULL advanced certification in 2011. Every year she has taken courses on pilates such as the fitness ring, prenatal pilates, weighted balls, stability balls athletic training, halo training, STOTT total barre, and many others. Since being in business, she has focused on more rehabilitation courses such as shoulder stability, knee injuries, and focus on the lumber spine. She has taken on clients with fibromyalgia, fractured discs, scoliosis, degenerative discs, broken ankles, shoulder injuries, sciatica, MS, osteoporosis, rectus diastasis, and pelvic floor incontinence to name a few.

    Siobhan Costello
    Siobhan Costello has over 24 years of teaching and coaching physical movement and fitness. She is a former professional modern dancer, teacher and coach specializing in the Doris Humphrey-Charles Weidman technique. Her experiences include teaching and performing in New Haven and Hartford, CT as well as throughout Chicago and New York. From 2003 to 2006 Siobhan owned and operated Pilates plus Yoga; a fully-equipped Pilates studio. Prior to her opening her own business, she managed a health and wellness facility where she was employed as the Principle Pilates Instructor and the Daily Operations Coordinator. Here she worked closely with the naturopath physicians and chiropractor to make sure all patients and clients met their physical goals and maintained their optimum health. At both organizations, Siobhan conducted group classes and private lessons to the public as well as to special populations related to rehabilitation of injuries, surgeries, and various disabilities including long term illnesses. Currently, Siobhan holds a full certification as a STOTT Pilates Instructor and is employed full time as the Master Pilates Instructor at The Edge of Fairfield, Connecticut.

    Jennifer Pascale a former athlete, found Pilates after a back injury and has been practicing pilates since 2006. She has been working in the fitness industry since 2002 teaching spinning, body conditioning and core classes at various gyms in the greater Danbury area. She began pilates training with Balanced Body in 2007. She completed Pilates mat work in 2008, followed by reformer, cadillac, and all equipment training in 2009 with Balanced Body Pilates. In 2011, she finished up her training with Anatomy and 200 observation and apprentice hours. She became a fully certified Balanced Body Pilates instructor in 2011 and has been teaching Pilates since 2008 at a studio in Brookfield CT as well as various gyms in the Danbury/Waterbury area. "I truly believe Pilates will change anyone's body for the better." Since Jen has had a back injury herself, she continues to educate herself with injuries, and has worked with clients with hip and knee replacements as well as osteoporosis and arthritic clients.     Kathy Proto has been an avid equestrian since the age of 5, and found that pilates increases her advancements in horse back riding by strengthening her core properly. She has been practicing and enjoying pilates in great detail for over 12 years under the wing of Nadine Phillips. Having a BS and MS in elementary and special education has only helped her develop a unique and detailed teaching style. She pays great attention to detail and strives to have all her students learn and execute the exercises correctly. She is currently trained in the STOTT method in mat, reformer, Cadillac, chair and barrels level 1 and advanced mat and reformer certification courses. Kathy looks forward to taking her last advanced Cadillac, chair, and barrels course in 2017, and receiving her FULL STOTT pilates certification soon! Kathy’s other interests beyond riding 3-4 days a week include cooking and clean eating practices. She lives in Bethany with her husband , 22 year old daughter and her black lab.
